The prednisone has so altered my face.
My first appearance at synagogue in more than a month really was an experience. People I've known for years did not recognize me.
They were staring to figure out who it was, or more likely, they couldn't divert their eyes from the chipmunk-lady.
Above, what I looked like on Mother's Day. Sorry, it's a bit blurry.
To the right, what I look like today.
And just for more details, here's the tell tale prednisone hump. It's a bump.

Adios for now...
I am at a loss (pray not prophetic) to reply (Poetry escapes), save, I have diligently researched, consulted with those whom for 40+ yrs. to the present I have been guided to peak health through natural protocols of both scientific & anecdotal efficacy, several of which I subsequently furnished. I am hoping, of course, the path you have chosen for wellness will ultimately succeed without further duress/side-effects, with an increasing minimum evidenced in the photo, & not long-term organ affect. To proselytize for a moment, the human body/machine requires "clean fuel" to perform Its manifold functions - e.g., enzymes, the triggers which help glands/organs to maximally perform. Anything (substances) the innate wisdom does not recognize as "analogous" is seen as a threatening invader to the integrity of the System, & attempts to dispel are initiated. Hence, your swollen tissue. I believe in "Cleansing," allowing the body/System to rely on Its innate wisdom for Healing through the immune system: Detoxifying Promotes Wellness. (www.livingfoodsinstitute.com) - Brenda Cobb's experience (& my friend/cohort/Artist, TAS) speaks to this scientifically & eloquently - ZH'H.
